Terms and Conditions of Sale

The following terms and conditions apply to orders for baked goods including wedding and custom cakes (and other items) from Sweet Cakes Bakery

1. For any baked items that costs $200.00 or more:

A. A non-refundable deposit of 50 percent (50%) or $200, whichever is greater of the price of the item is required, at the time of the order is placed to reserve the item for a specific time. If the order is completed, this deposit will be applied to the price of the cake. If the order is cancelled, or if the Customer does not make the additional payments when they are due, Sweet Cakes Bakery will retain the deposit.

B. The final payment of the balance of the price of the item is due 1 week prior to delivery, with the exception of wedding cakes. Full payment of any wedding cake is due 14 days before the date of the wedding.

C. If the order is cancelled by the Customer at any time up to and including the fourteenth day before the delivery date for the item, all money paid by the Customer, except for the fifty percent non-refundable deposit, will be refunded to Customer.

D. If an order is cancelled less than 14 days before the delivery date, Sweet Cakes Bakery will retain all money paid by the Customer. However, if the Customer wishes, the money paid by the Customer can be applied toward the purchase and delivery of another custom-baked item, provided that the new item is delivered within 60 days after the original delivery date.

E. All cancellations must be submitted electronically to mysweetcakesbakery@gmail.com.

2. For any custom-baked item that costs less than $200.00, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the price is due at the time the order is placed, with the balance due upon pickup. If the item is to be picked up or delivered within 1 week, full payment is due when the order is placed. No refunds will be given.

3. Sweet Cakes Bekery reserves the right to cancel any order at any time due to, but not limited to; customer history, product unavailability, or emergency.

4. By signing the "Terms and Conditions of Sale" Contract, the buyer agrees to the color, design(s) and flavor(s) detailed upon placement of the order. The buyer also agrees that upon final payment and pickup or delivery of the order, that he/she accepts the product "as is" and no refunds will be issued.
